A very clean and neat park. The showers are like individual bathrooms with toilet, sink and shower. Wi-Fi is password protected and free. We enjoyed visiting the Crater very much. You need closed shoes for taking the tour of the Crater Rim. The RV park gives a $2 discount and seniors get another $2 off the price of admission. The museum is fun with interactive exhibits.
This is a National Forest (Coconino)campground located on the Mogollon Rim about 2 miles north of Clints Well and 2 1/2 miles in on a gravel road. Absolutely beautiful setting in the pine forest; some sites have distant views off the Rim. Located 2 1/2 miles from the Blue Ridge Reservoir. A great place for canoing or kayaking. The campground does not take reservations, no hookups, and has chemical toilets. The sites are level with pads for tents and picnic tables. The campground tends to fill up by Fridays on summer weekends.
Our second time here, now under new owners and they are trying to improve the park. Sites are large, well manicured and most are shaded. The laundry facilities are very clean. Wi-Fi worked well but are not password secured. Excellent centralized location for Southeastern Colorado. Located across the road from Mesa Verde National Park and about 35 miles from Durango.
Sites are in a meadow with dirt roads, so when the wind blew it could be very dusty. Some sites were shaded with big trees. Some sites were close together. No TV, we used our satellite dish. We camped in a 5th wheel while friends stayed in a cabin. The cabin was very clean, well stocked, and had Direct TV. A good location if you want to ride the Cumbres and Toltec Railroad out of Antonito.
Beautiful campground on a lake. We were looking for a place to relax and this was perfect. It is also a good place if you are a boater or a fisherman. We planned on 2 nights but stayed 3.
Beautiful, well maintained campground on the Columbia River. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We were in site 27, one side of the trailer faced the river and and the other side had a privacy fence. We stayed 3 nights.
Clean, well maintained park with a friendly staff. Located on a scenic drive, across from Netarts Bay and about 8 miles from Tillamook. Free, secure, and fast WiFi. View sites are higher priced. We camped in a 27 foot fifth wheel.
Beautiful campground. A very large park, we camped over Memorial Day weekend, and although it was full, it didn't seem crowded. The park was a Naval training base during WW2, all that is left is a museum in the old Brig. The volunteers were very helpful in trying to locate graduation pictures of my husband's father in 1943. We camped in a pull through site.
